I made my daughter hide my scale at home because I kept jumping on and it wasnt moving...but the one at the gym was taunting me so I hopped on. Still the same as at the beginning of the week. What gives? I am like the RNY Poster Child! Follow everything to a T, walking everyday AND going to the gym (doing everything except for ABS). Is it because of the gym maybe? I cant POSSIBLY be eating too much....there's no way I CAN eat too much! FRUSTRATED....grrrrrrrrr......

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm thought you were not going to weigh yourself until your 3 month visit? I guess the scale called your name too loud. There could be a litany o reasons why the scale has not moved for a week, but the main one is that your body is going to do what it wants to do regardless of whether your are poster RNY child or not. If you do not want to drive yourself nuts, I would step away from the scale  no matter how loud it calls your name Rocky and know that if you are following the doctors rules, they weight will come off. Most likely you will dump a bunch weight all at once and you will be going like what the heck? This is what use to happen for me when I was in my early days of being on the losing side. It was the main reason did stay away from the scale. I use to feel very dejected because I did not lose steady, but would dump a bunch at one time. Don't trip if you are doing what you are supposed to be doing! Bounce

I will consider myself "UNTRIPPED" at this point. You are 100% right- step AWAY from the scale and I will be fine. Thanks Ma'am! Can I borrow the car this weekend?

As a new post op, I stayed away from the scales, but now, I stand proud as a scale ho.  Your body is just taking a break, Relax, breath and keeping doing what you are doing. One day you will wake up and BAM!!! 5 pounds going, You will step off and on like 20 times before you believe that loss. We all done/do that. I promise the numbers will start moving once agian.

Keep up the outstanding work.

Hi Missrocky...
All sounds normal to me... you'll step on the scale and say where the h@ll did these seven pounds drop from in one day? Happens to a lot of us even further out...

Best advice from my nut. was get your water in and protein in... and walk... and you know what? She was 100% right!!!

My best to you!

As another scale ho   Scale I have learned a couple of things about my body.  I will stay on a weight for up to 2 weeks and then I will drop anothr 5lbs or more.  I figure that my body is re-arranging itself because people tell me that I continue to look thinner even when the scale doesn't budge.  I'm almost 6mos. out (Wednesday!) and although I haven't lost nearly as much as others, this may just be the way it works for me.  I do admit that I really need to hit the gym more consistently.  Treadmill  Keep up the good stuff! As the queen of stalls, I know how frustrating it is, but it does come off.  You already lost 100 lbs, pre op, so just relax and stop worrying,  I have been stuck in my 240's for almost 3 months, I just now have dropped more and no longer will see the 240's again.  I have given myself another year to drop the last 60 lbs, because it does get slower.  So quit worrying and just keep on track.  It will all work out. THat freaking scale!!!! I just knew it was going to come back and haunt your butt. I am a scale ***** so I can't give you any advice. Since I am though, I can tell you that there are many stalls in this journey and the last thing you want to do is get frustrated because there are going to be many. I wouldn't be able to tell you about the gym or exercise because I have been naughty and not going to the gym. I actually have been trying to be active in other areas like taking stairs instead of the elevator, parking far away, and oh I forgot I have to give myself a little credit for walking 2 1/2 miles yesterday with my son TJ. Anyway, just know stalls are normal and part of this.  Love you, Jaim e
